Precautionary measures

Dear Visitors

We welcome you back to the Ethnographic Museum at the University of Zurich and look forward to welcoming you to our exhibitions.

The reopening is accompanied by a protection concept which is based on the specifications of the Federal Office of Public Health and the University of Zurich as well as the recommendations of the Swiss Museums Association.

Until further notice, protection masks must be worn in all publicly accessible interior areas of the museum as well as in the exhibition rooms.

The number of visitors per exhibition room is limited. Touchable surfaces are regularly disinfected or cleaned.

There will be no events or guided tours on site until further notice. We will switch to a virtual formate whenever possible. We will inform you about the implementation at least two days before the planned event via our event agenda and the electronic newsletter.

For further questions please contact: musethno@vmz.uzh.ch.

The library will also remain closed to the public for the time being. For further information please contact: kitab@vmz.uzh.ch.

We look forward to your visit.

The Director and the Team of the Ethnographic Museum
